Katie Johnson

A very active racer and cruiser, Katie spends as much time as possible on or near the water. She is passionate about one design racing and can typically be found out on the racecourse at least once a week. When she isn’t racing, Katie enjoys boating around Charleston Harbor and beyond, frequently cruising to The Bahamas with her husband and son. Her experience includes the operation of sailboats & powerboats, racing in and offshore, charters, deliveries, and offshore cruising on the east coast & the Bahamas. She has lived aboard, traveled on and maintained various vessels. Katie is a very active member of Charleston Yacht Club and Charleston Ocean Racing Association, and enjoys spending time racing on and exploring the beautiful waterways surrounding the Lowcountry.
